HANOI NEWS: From September 9-11, 2026, HTI-UAS, a Vietnamese indigenous UAV developer, attended the UAV VIETNAM 2026 Exhibition — a special segment under VITW Vietnam Industrial & Technology Week and the 2026 Vietnam International Hi-Tech & Digital Economic Fair (Hi-Tech Vietnam). The event was held at the Vietnam Exposition Center (VEC) in Hanoi. The company presented its full lineup of domestically-built UAV platforms and conducted live performance demonstrations of its self-developed motors and propellers using the LY-70KGF UAV propulsion test bench, demonstrating its local UAV propulsion R&D capability.
At the exhibition, HTI-UAS displayed its complete Horus-series UAV portfolio, including the Horus QS24 light-weight tactical reconnaissance UAV, Horus P02 long-endurance fixed-wing UAV and Horus HW-100 multi-mission cargo-carrying UAV. Also on show were its in-house developed H-Link data link, VIO visual-inertial navigation system and matching ground control station. These products serve both defence-security and civilian scenarios such as border reconnaissance & patrol, mapping & infrastructure inspection, search-and-rescue and material delivery.
Different from conventional static prototype displays, HTI-UAS built an on-site propulsion test workstation at its booth. The LY-70KGF high-thrust propulsion test bench was deployed to carry out live demonstrations with its self-developed motors and matched propellers. As professional testing equipment for heavy-lift UAVs, the LY-70KGF delivers a maximum test thrust of 70 kgf and supports propellers up to 60 inches. It collects real-time metrics including thrust, torque, rotational speed, voltage and current to quantify efficiency and output stability of the complete motor-propeller system. It furnishes solid data support for UAV propulsion selection and iterative optimization. On-site visitors and industry clients could observe system operation and read live test readings, gaining direct insight into the real-world performance of HTI-UAS’s in-house propulsion units, moving beyond specification-only presentations.

On-site exhibition view of the LY-70KGF propulsion test bench enclosed within a safety wire-mesh cage. The test rig is fitted with self-developed motor and propeller. The protective cage guarantees safety during live demonstrations and serves as the core demo installation at the booth.
According to HTI-UAS representatives, propulsion is the cornerstone of overall UAV performance. Validating motors and propellers via professional test facilities is critical to achieving “Make in Vietnam” UAV localization and guaranteeing product reliability. This live bench demonstration not only exhibits its home-grown propulsion technical achievements, but also aims to foster technical exchanges with upstream and downstream partners across the ASEAN low-altitude-economy industrial chain and explore potential cooperation on propulsion hardware and complete UAV platforms.
Notably, S-tech and Vietnam national television channel VTV2 covered the live demonstration of the LY-70KGF test bench at the exhibition. The media highlighted the significance of this propulsion testing equipment for advancing Vietnam’s domestic UAV industry development.
As Vietnam’s leading professional exhibition focusing on low-altitude economy and UAV industry, UAV VIETNAM gathers local indigenous developers and international supply-chain participants. It covers complete UAV platforms, flight-control & navigation hardware, propulsion systems and industry-specific application solutions, acting as a key hub for technology showcase and business matchmaking targeting the ASEAN market. By combining physical UAV exhibits with live bench-testing demos, HTI-UAS illustrates the ongoing shift of Vietnamese domestic UAV enterprises toward full-stack independent R&D.
